Web Development Instructor (Full/Part Time)

We are Krystal Institute, a fast-growing educator hoping to transform how students acquire digital skills using our proprietary educational platform. Our team has a strong background in both digital content creation and digital skills education. Our founders have decades of experience collaborating with education institutions in South East Asia, including City University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen University, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

What You’ll Do

• Teach and facilitate training program and Web Development curriculum delivery (MERN stack)
• Monitor learning progress, evaluate and assess students’ performances
• Applying knowledge in pedagogy, develop and customize proprietary education materials for students in different regions and age groups
• Assist in the formulation of a content strategy and conduct learning needs analysis
• Engage with schools to ensure the curriculum’s effective delivery
• Handle ad-hoc duties if necessary

Job Requirements

• Experienced in the use of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)
• Minimum 5 years experience web, app, or software development experience, with at least 3 years of managerial or teaching experience
• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Engineering, Networking, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related disciplines
• Confident and enthusiastic individuals with teaching experience
• Good communication ability in both Chinese and English
• Deep interest in digital education for all age groups
• Able to work in an international and multicultural environment
• At least 16 hours available per week (Part Time)

Who You’ll Work With

You will be working with our team based at the InnoCentre in Kowloon Tong. You will also virtually engage with our collaborators that are based in Greater China, the Netherlands, Canada, and the UK.
